Before you begin, please take a moment to read how we think about this tool and what it is and is not.
The Aetheria Coherence Lab is an early-stage exploration of biofield coherence measurement based on the Unified Lewis Framework. It reads physiological signals from consumer sensors (heart rate, heart rate variability, EEG, blood flow) and offers audio and haptic stimuli guided by those signals. The mathematical and physiological interpretations it produces are hypotheses under active investigation, not established medical facts.

Session data is processed entirely on your own device. No physiological signals are transmitted to external servers. Nothing about your sessions leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it. The app runs fully in your browser — there is no account, no login, no tracking.

You can use either sensor individually — both are not required. However, the coherence measurement is most complete with both connected.
1 Polar H10: Moisten the electrode pads on the chest strap and put it on. Tap Connect H10 in the header, then select your H10 from the Bluetooth dialog.
2 Muse S: Place the headband on your forehead, ensuring the sensors sit flat against your skin. Tap Connect Muse and select your Muse from the Bluetooth dialog.
3 Watch the status bar — it shows connection state and live data flow counts for each stream (ECG, RR, EEG, PPG, fNIRS, IMU). Green numbers mean data is flowing.
Once at least one sensor is connected, the Start Session button becomes active. Tapping it begins:
The Aetheria Coherence Lab delivers each prescribed frequency as a binaural pair — one carrier to the left ear, a slightly different carrier to the right ear. Your brain perceives the frequency difference as a subtle pulsing tone (the "beat frequency"). When you also run a Woojer through a powered 3.5mm splitter, the Woojer receives the summed stereo signal and delivers the same frequencies as tactile resonance against your sternum.
This means each session engages three channels of the same prescription simultaneously: the ears (binaural carriers), the body (haptic resonance), and the nervous system (coherence policy responding to your live biosignals). No channel leads or lags — the powered splitter ensures they're all in sync.
Recommended setup:
Using just headphones without the Woojer is fine — the coherence system still functions fully. The Woojer adds an embodied layer that many users find deepens the experience, especially during the closing.
Every Aetheria session ends with a ritual closing signature called the "biofield hug."
When the adaptive policy determines the session has reached its natural completion — either through sustained coherence at a peak frequency, or through three consecutive pivot events that suggest diminishing returns — the system enters a closing state. It holds your peak-coherence prescription for at least 45 seconds, then transitions to a held HEART-regime carrier (typically 1206 Hz · Gateway Integration).
The final three seconds of every session deliver three heartbeats through the Woojer: a low-frequency LUB-dub pattern that slows and softens across the three cycles. This is the system's way of closing the loop in the body's own language — ending not with silence but with the pulse of life itself, gently fading.
If you're wearing the Woojer, you'll feel this directly on your sternum. If you're only wearing headphones, you'll hear it as a soft rhythmic bass. Either way, let it complete. Don't stop the session during the heartbeat hug — it's the dopamine release window that helps the nervous system consolidate the experience.
When you stop a session (or it closes gracefully after the heartbeat hug), a completion screen appears with three options:
What is the Session Tagger? The Aetheria Session Tagger is a companion app where you add subjective context to your sessions — how you felt, what you noticed, what shifted. The Coherence Lab captures what your body did; the Tagger captures what you experienced. Together they form the complete picture.
You can export for the Tagger at any time from the completion screen. Your data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to upload it.
Left panel — Signals: Raw waveforms from your sensors. R-R intervals show heart rhythm variability, EEG shows brainwave activity from AF7/AF8 channels, PPG shows blood volume pulse, and fNIRS shows oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin.
Right panel — Biofield Coherence: The three concentric arcs represent coherence in each regime:
The TCS (Total Coherence Score) in the center is the combined measure across all three regimes. Below it, BCS (Biofield Coherence Score), PLV (Phase Locking Value), and Lead show cross-regime synchronization metrics.
The frequency selector in the header lets you manually test individual entrainment tones. During an active session, the policy engine selects frequencies automatically — it advances through the regime cascade (GUT → HEART → HEAD) based on your live coherence readings.
Your session data has been recorded. Choose what to do next.
